We want your books!
Do you have boxes of books in your basement taking up space? What about books that your son or daughter has outgrown? If they’re in good condition (ex. no water damage or missing pages), we’ll take them! We are looking for donations to help us pull off the best book sale ever. Please give your books a new home by dropping them off at the library. The Friends and the SFV Library thank you!
P. S. We will also take those dusty old VHS tapes and CDs that your spouse has been bugging you to get rid of… it’s a win-win!

Books for a cause
Let’s face it, sometimes the library can’t support all of your literary needs. The next time you’re looking to buy a bestseller or a beach read, use Better World Books. You can buy new or used books and textbooks, and support worldwide literacy at the same time!

Ink cartridge recycling
At one point or another we’ve all been guilty of throwing out something that could have been recycled… but don’t toss out your old ink cartridges! Did you know that the Friends can bring them to Staples and redeem them for store credit? Support the Friends of the Library and save the earth at the same time by bringing your empty ink cartridges to the display by the Adult Services desk.
